This 7-day trek takes you through five climate zones from rainforest to arctic summit, with professional guides, porters, and mountain chefs. Summit attempt at Uhuru Peak (5,895m) followed by celebration and descent. All camping equipment, meals, and park fees included.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Moshi to Machame Gate - Machame Camp
Drive from Moshi to Machame Gate (1,800m). Complete park registration then begin trek through lush rainforest. Watch for colobus monkeys and exotic birds. Arrive at Machame Camp (3,000m) for dinner and overnight in mountain tents.

Day 2
Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Ascend through moorland zone with stunning views of Kibo peak. Cross the Shira Plateau, one of the highest plateaus on earth. Reach Shira Camp (3,840m) with panoramic views. Acclimatization walk in the afternoon.

Shira Camp to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
Crucial acclimatization day. Climb to Lava Tower (4,600m) for lunch, then descend to Barranco Camp (3,960m). This 'climb high, sleep low' strategy aids altitude adjustment. Cross alpine desert terrain with spectacular rock formations.

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Tackle the famous Barranco Wall, a thrilling scramble with incredible views. Traverse ridges and valleys with views of Heim and Kersten glaciers. Arrive at Karanga Camp (3,995m) for rest and acclimatization.

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Short but steep climb to Barafu Camp (4,673m), the base camp for summit attempt. Rest, hydrate, and prepare gear for midnight summit push. Early dinner and sleep before midnight wake-up call.

Summit Day - Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
Midnight start for summit push. Climb through darkness using headlamps, reaching Stella Point (5,756m) at sunrise. Final push to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the Roof of Africa! Celebrate at the summit sign, then descend to Barafu for brunch. Continue descent to Mweka Camp (3,100m) through scree and moorland.

Day 7
Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate - Moshi
Final descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate (1,640m). Receive summit certificates and celebrate with your team. Drive back to Moshi for hot shower, celebratory dinner, and well-deserved rest.
