Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Depart Entebbe early morning. Drive southwest through Uganda's beautiful countryside, stopping at the Equator for photos. Alternatively, take a domestic flight to Kihihi. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half the world's mountain gorillas. Evening briefing about gorilla trekking. Overnight at forest lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Early morning gorilla trekking briefing at park headquarters. Trek through dense rainforest guided by expert trackers. Trekking duration varies (2-8 hours) depending on gorilla location. Spend magical hour observing gorilla family - watching them feed, play, and interact. Return to lodge for celebration and certificate presentation. Overnight at Bwindi.

Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through scenic Ishasha sector. Game drive searching for tree-climbing lions, a unique behavior found only here. Continue to main park area. Afternoon game drive spotting elephants, buffalos, and Uganda kobs. Overnight at park lodge.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning game drive in Kasenyi plains, prime area for lions, leopards, and large buffalo herds. Afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. See hippos, crocodiles, elephants drinking at water's edge, and over 600 bird species. Sunset game drive. Overnight at park lodge.

Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe
Morning game drive then depart for Entebbe. Alternatively, take domestic flight. Stop at Mbarara for lunch. Arrive in Entebbe late afternoon. Transfer to airport or hotel. End of gorilla trekking safari.
